Abstract
In view of the rising labor costs and the trade impact after joining the world trade organization, the textile industry in Taiwan has encountered many operational and production problems and obstacles. This, coupled with the lack of technology and resources needed to improve performance, has led to poor production and decision-making efficiency and stagnation in the research and development of textile product innovation. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the impact of technology readiness level and technology anxiety as independent variables and perceived benefits and perceived costs as mediating variables on the digital transformation intention of Taiwan’s textile industry executives and managers. The study used descriptive statistics, reliability and validity analysis, analysis of variance, and regression analysis. The study results show that the technology readiness level of the textile industry positively and negatively affects the perceived benefits and perceived costs of digital transformation respectively. Technology anxiety in the textile industry positively and negatively affects the perceived costs and perceived benefits of digital transformation respectively. Perceived benefits and perceived costs in the textile industry positively and negatively affect digital transformation intention. Finally, based on the research findings, this study provides practical recommendations to senior executives and company managers in the textile industry. It is also recommended to promote the digital transformation of related software and hardware vendors and government agencies, as well as the subsequent related research reference.

Key words: Technology readiness level, Technology anxiety, Perceived benefits, Perceived costs, Perceived risk, Digital transformation intention
